General Cardiology Locum Physician – Lewisburg, PA (WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital)

Start Date: June 8 or 15, 2026 | Contract: Ongoing | Minimum Commitment: 6 months | Full-Time

Schedule: Daily clinic + procedures; 1–2 nights of call/week; 1:4 or 1:5 weekend call

Shift: 7:30am–4:00pm (M–F)

In lab 3 days/week

Clinical Details:

Patients per day: 17–18

Patient Population: Adults

Team: APP with Interventional support for General Cardiology

Hospital Bed Size: 150 | EMR: EPIC

Special Procedures: Nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, echo monitors, CT reads (preferred)

Average callback: Nights — 0; Weekends — 0 (rounding required)

Requirements:

BC or BE in Cardiology

Nuclear Boarded + Echo Boarded — Required

CT Boarded — Preferred (not mandatory)

Active PA License or IMLC LOQ ONLY (no other IMLC)

DEA required | Minimum 1 year experience

Credentialing: Temp privileges available with clean file. 2-hour gratis included.

• Nuclear + Echo board required — CT reads a plus
• Full-time: clinic + procedures + 1–2 nights/week call + 1:4/5 weekend call
• EPIC EMR, 150-bed hospital, APP support, 17–18 pts/day
