A healthcare facility in South Carolina is seeking a General Cardiologist / Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide sabbatical coverage during the month of September 2026. This opportunity involves outpatient clinic coverage and echocardiogram reads with no call responsibilities. The assignment offers a flexible weekday schedule and a manageable patient volume in a supportive clinical environment.

About the facility:
‣ Located in Orangeburg, South Carolina
‣ Outpatient cardiology clinic setting
‣ Clinic and echo reading responsibilities
‣ No call coverage required
‣ Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days
‣ Coverage needed from 09/01/2026 - 09/30/2026 Ongoing

Compensation:
‣ Pay Rate: $400-$420/Hr. - Details can be discussed further after applying to the job posting.

Job Responsibilities:
‣ Provide outpatient cardiology clinic coverage
‣ Interpret and read echocardiograms
‣ See approximately 20 patients per day
‣ Document patient encounters accurately within EPIC EMR
‣ Complete required hospital onboarding modules and EMR personalization tasks

Qualifications:
‣ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
‣ Active South Carolina medical license or ability to obtain
‣ Prior outpatient cardiology experience preferred
‣ Strong echocardiogram interpretation skills required
‣ EPIC EMR proficiency required - non-negotiable

Working Hours:
‣ Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
‣ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
‣ No call responsibilities
