Cardiology Physician (Locum Tenens) – Everett, Washington

A healthcare facility in Everett, WA is seeking Board-Certified Cardiology physicians for ongoing locum tenens coverage beginning September 2026. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative inpatient team while enjoying the scenic beauty and outdoor lifestyle of the Pacific Northwest.

Assignment Details
Start Date: September 7, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Inpatient + Night Call
Providers Needed: 1–2

Specific Coverage Needs:

September 7–13
October 26 – November 1
December 21–27
December 28 – January 3, 2027

Preference given to providers who can cover multiple weeks for continuity.

Schedule
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (inpatient)
Night Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (pager call; not every night)
Overtime: Applies after 10 hours/day (not weekly)

Important: Providers must be willing to work both inpatient shifts AND night call.

Practice Setting

Inpatient cardiology
Trauma Level: II
EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

Patient volume: 15–18 patients per shift
Collaborate with a strong, established team:
6 Cardiologists
3 APPs
Dedicated RN and LPN support

Required Skills & Experience

Inpatient cardiology experience
ICU experience
Proficiency in:
Echocardiography (Echo)
Transesophageal Echo (TEE)
Nuclear Cardiology

Requirements
Board Certification: Cardiovascular Disease or Internal Medicine
License: Washington license or IMLC
Fellowship: Preferred
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days
