A respected cardiology program is seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity focused on General Cardiology coverage within a collaborative hospital-based practice. This assignment offers predictable daytime scheduling, no call responsibilities, and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced cardiovascular team in a modern clinical environment.

Position Highlights
Ongoing long-term assignment with expected 9-month duration
One week of coverage per month

Hospital-based General Cardiology coverage
Epic EMR system

Clinical Responsibilities
Providers will support the General Cardiology service with responsibilities including:
Inpatient cardiology coverage
Rounding and admissions
Cardioversions
TEE procedures
General consultative cardiology care

Practice Environment
Established cardiology program within a modern healthcare system
Adult patient population
Collaborative physician environment with multidisciplinary support
Opportunity for independent practice balanced with team collaboration
Structured workflows and strong operational support

Ideal Candidate
Board Certified in Cardiology
ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
Epic EMR experience preferred
Recent cardiovascular clinical activity and case documentation required for credentialing
Comfortable managing inpatient cardiology coverage independently when needed
