Position Overview:
A facility in Bellingham, Washington is seeking a Board-Certified General Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment to help fill a current coverage gap. This role is part of a broader cardiology need, with this specific request focused on General Cardiology hospital-based coverage.

Assignment Details:
• Start date: ASAP (first day reserved for orientation)
• Duration: Approximately 9 months
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 1 week per month
• Call: None

Work Details:
• Setting: Hospital (inpatient only)
• Hospital size: 247 beds
• Patient population: Adults
• Average patients per day: 14–46
• Responsibilities: Rounding and admissions
• Required procedures: Cardioversions and TEE’s
• EMR: EPIC

Practice Environment:
• May work independently at times
• Collaborative environment with other cardiology providers

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required
• Active Washington license: Required at time of submission
