Locum Cardiologist needed in West Virginia

Opportunity Details: Cardiology (West Virginia)

Start: June 1, 2026
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule:
Clinic: Mon–Fri, 8a–4:30p
24/7 call with light volume (4–5 consults/day, 1–2 after-hours calls)

Work Details:

122-bed hospital
Clinic volume: 20–25 patients/day
Mixed schedule: half-day clinic + half-day testing supervision
Adult patient population (primarily 50+)
EMR: Cerner
Support staff: MAs and RN

Procedures/Skills:

Nuclear stress tests (perform & read)
Exercise stress tests
EKGs, echocardiograms, TEE

Requirements:

Board Certified required
Active license required or IMLC/WV temp license accepted
DEA required
BLS, ACLS, and TEE required

Credentialing:

30–45 days
Licensing assistance available (IMLC or WV temp license)
