Schedule: Onsite | Monday–Thursday | 10-hour shifts

Position Overview

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide adult outpatient behavioral health services in a collaborative clinical setting.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult patients

Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions

Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as needed

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Provide follow-up care and ongoing patient monitoring

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary behavioral health team members

Participate in care coordination and treatment planning discussions

Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards

Educate patients on treatment plans and medications

Qualifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license

Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred

DEA license or eligibility

Experience in adult outpatient psychiatry or behavioral health preferred

Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning

Experience working in a collaborative care environment

Working Hours

Onsite schedule

Monday – Thursday

10-hour shifts

40 hours per week

Daytime outpatient clinic hours

No overnight shifts

No on-call responsibilities

Skills

Strong knowledge of adult psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities

Expertise in psychopharmacology and medication management

Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills

Excellent patient communication abilities

Ability to develop evidence-based treatment plans

Proficiency with EMR documentation

Strong organizational and time-management skills
