📋 Contract Details
🔹 Specialty: Adolescent Psychiatry
🔹 Position Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
🔹 Anticipated Start Date: September 2026
🔹 Assignment Length: 26 weeks
🔹 Schedule: Coverage for 2 weekends per month plus the following Monday and Tuesday
🔹 Monday/Tuesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM onsite with overnight call through 8:00 AM
🔹 Weekends: Approximately 6 hours of rounding beginning at 8:00 AM, followed by 24-hour call through 8:00 AM the following day
🔹 Call Required: Night call on Monday and Tuesday, plus 24-hour weekend call with rounding
🔹 Callback Responsibilities: Admission orders for accepted patients arriving during call coverage
🔹 Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days

🔹 Practice Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry / Behavioral Health
🔹 Patient Population: Adolescents
🔹 Average Patient Volume: 6–12 patients per day
🔹 EMR: Epic
🔹 Clinical Focus: Inpatient adolescent psychiatric evaluation, medication management, multidisciplinary treatment planning, family collaboration, crisis intervention, behavioral management, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, admission management

📋 Candidate Requirements
🔹 Board Certification: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or Board Certified General Psychiatry with completed Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship
🔹 Active California medical license required
🔹 Strong experience in adolescent psychiatric care, psychopharmacology, multidisciplinary collaboration, family systems, behavioral de-escalation, treatment planning, leadership of interdisciplinary teams, and knowledge of legal, educational, and safeguarding frameworks for adolescent patients
