📋 Contract Details
🔹 Anticipated Start Date: September 2026
🔹 Contract Length: 26 weeks
🔹 Schedule: Scheduled coverage with required call
🔹 Coverage includes 2 weekends per month plus the following Monday and Tuesday
🔹 Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM onsite with overnight call until 8:00 AM
🔹 Weekends: Morning rounding beginning at 8:00 AM followed by 24-hour call coverage
🔹 Employment Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
🔹 Active California license required (no licensing assistance available)
🔹 Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days

🏥 Site Details & Clinical Scope
🔹 Acute care psychiatric hospital
🔹 Adolescent inpatient psychiatry service
🔹 Average daily census of 6–12 patients
🔹 Epic EMR
🔹 Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment planning
🔹 Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
🔹 Manage behavioral crises using therapeutic interventions and de-escalation techniques
🔹 Overnight call responsibilities include admission orders for accepted patients

📋 Candidate Requirements
🔹 Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
🔹 Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or completion of a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship required
🔹 Active California license required
🔹 Experience treating adolescent psychiatric patients
🔹 Strong psychopharmacology, family systems, and multidisciplinary team leadership experience
🔹 COVID-19 vaccination and booster required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
