Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Needed in Hartford, CT | Pediatric Psych ED | Part-Time, No Call

Job description

This is a part-time child and adolescent psychiatry opportunity supporting the pediatric psychiatric ED at a children's hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Shifts are usually eight hours, 8:00a-4:30p, with some flexibility and including weekend shifts, on a flexible part-time basis with no call. The target start is January 2027, and privileging runs approximately three to four months.

The physician serves a pediatric and adolescent population ages 3-21 (primarily 6-18). Volume varies but rarely exceeds 10 patients per day, since the physician is always paired with a partner. The role is always paired with a PMHNP, and telepsychiatry is generally not available.

Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with at least one to three years of inpatient psychiatry or psychiatric ED experience, an active Connecticut license (IMLC accepted), and a DEA.
