Full-Time Psychiatrist Opportunity – Detroit, Michigan
Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit | No Call | Flexible Scheduling Options
A Michigan facility is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join its Crisis Stabilization Unit serving an adult patient population. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for a structured weekday schedule, collaborative environment, and meaningful behavioral health work without call responsibilities.
Position Highlights
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No Call Requirements
Open to:
One Full-Time Psychiatrist
Two Part-Time Providers to fulfill 40 weekly hours
Practice Setting
Adult-only patient population
Crisis Stabilization Unit
Maximum 15-bed unit
Supportive interdisciplinary care environment
Focus on stabilization, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations
Clinical Responsibilities
Psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment planning
Medication management appointments:
45 minutes to 1 hour
Evaluations:
15–20 minutes
Collaboration with behavioral health and support staff
Addiction experience strongly preferred
Requirements
Board Certified Psychiatrist
Experience treating adult psychiatric patients
Addiction medicine or substance use treatment experience preferred
