Child & Adolescent Psychiatry – Montana
Highlights:
• Long-term coverage opportunity with a stable 7 on / 7 off hospitalist schedule
• Flexible scheduling options, including traditional daytime coverage or extended shifts based on provider preference
• Small inpatient unit with manageable patient volumes and a collaborative care environment
Practice Details:
• Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• 12-bed behavioral health unit
• Patients ages 12 and older, including adolescent and adult populations
• Opportunity to assist with a Partial Hospitalization Program during the school year with a maximum census of 10 patients
• Coverage includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing inpatient care
Schedule Options:
• Preferred: 7 days on / 7 days off, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with overnight weekend call coverage
• Alternative: 12-hour weekday shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and 10-hour weekend shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with overnight weekend call coverage
Requirements:
• Board Certified in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry preferred
• Will consider Board Certified Psychiatry physicians with extensive Child & Adolescent experience and/or recently completed Child & Adolescent fellowship training
• Active Montana license or IMLC eligibility preferred
• DEA required
• Must be comfortable treating patients ages 12 and older
