Physician – Child Psychiatry
Location:Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania*POSITION OVERVIEW
Opportunity Type: Permanent Placement | W-2 Employment
Start Date: ASAP — Target 6-8 weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Onsite for first 90 days | Hybrid potential (up to 2 days remote) thereafter
Patient Volume: 10-12 patient encounters per day
Setting: Outpatient Psychiatry — Multiple clinic locations in the Pittsburgh area
EMR: Valent (100% behavioral health-specific system)
Clinic Locations: Monroeville, Meadowlands, McCanless, and Shadyside
Patient Population: Children and Adolescent with some Adult overflow.COMPENSATION
RVU Bonus: Guaranteed base with RVU incentive structure

This full-time outpatient Psychiatry opportunity offers a well-supported, primarily child-focused practice with adult overflow within an established behavioral health system across multiple Pittsburgh-area clinic locations. The position involves direct collaboration with a team of NPs and PAs in a dynamic, procedure-enabled outpatient environment.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
- Provide psychotherapy services as part of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with and supervise NPs and PAs across clinic locations
- Manage primarily child and adolescent psychiatric patients with some adult overflow
- Option to participate in advanced treatment modalities including Ketamine infusion therapy and TMS procedures
- 10-12 patient encounters per day with structured appointment times
- Initial Evaluations: 60 minutes (As much time as provider needs)
- Follow-Up Visits: 20 minutes (As much time as provider needs)
- Commercial, Private Pay, Medicare, and Medicaid
- MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
- Active Pennsylvania medical license is a PLUS
- Open to Adult Psychiatry or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry backgrounds
- Clean malpractice and license history required
