Locum Child Neurologist needed in Alaska

Child Neurology – Alaska
Start: August 1, 2026
End: August 1, 2027
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Providers Needed: 2

Schedule:
• 2 weeks per month onsite clinic (8a–5p) with weeknight call and 24-hour weekend call coverage
• 2 weeks per month virtual hospital call coverage (24-hour call, remote)
• Candidates must be able to support both in-person clinic and virtual call for continuity of care

Practice Details:
• Inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth mix
• Level II Trauma facility
• Average 10 patients per clinic day
• Support staff provided
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Child Neurology
• Fellowship preferred
• Ability to obtain Alaska temporary license while full licensure is in process
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required

Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
