Academic appointment with East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level

Opportunity to lead the vision, growth, and expansion of Pediatric Neurology services across a 29-county region
Approximately 100% Pediatric Neurology clinical care and program development
Strong institutional support from the Department of Pediatrics and academic leadership
Teaching and clinical research opportunities available
Established referral network spanning eight regional hospitals and an extensive outpatient network

Practice Highlights
Lead the development of a comprehensive multidisciplinary Pediatric Neurology program
Collaborate with an established neuroscience team including:
20+ Neurologists
10 Neurosurgeons, including a Pediatric Neurosurgeon
4 Vascular Neurologists
4 Neurointensivists
13 Neurology subspecialists including Pediatric Neurology, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Headache Medicine, Neuromuscular Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Intraoperative Monitoring
State-of-the-art children's hospital featuring:
72-bed Level IV NICU (second largest in North Carolina)
12-bed PICU
42 pediatric inpatient beds
Comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support
On-site infusion suite
In-office EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and laboratory services
Access to North Carolina's only pediatric medical transport helicopter

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology
Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
Leadership experience or interest in program development preferred
Commitment to academic medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, and high-quality pediatric neurological care
