Pediatric Neurology Locums - Inpatient-Focused Coverage in Ohio

Aya Locums is assisting an established children’s hospital program in Ohio with Pediatric Neurology coverage beginning in December 2026.

The primary need is inpatient Pediatric Neurology coverage in 7-day blocks. During the coverage week, the neurologist is in-house approximately 8 hours during the day for rounding, consultations and admissions, followed by unrestricted beeper call overnight. Typical inpatient volume is approximately 10 encounters and 3 admissions per day.

The clinical scope includes epilepsy and seizures, developmental delays, movement disorders and other pediatric neurological conditions. EEG interpretation is required. The patient population ranges from newborn through age 17, and Epic is used for documentation.

The program includes a large Pediatric Neurology practice with pediatric inpatient, NICU and PICU support. Office staff includes nursing, administrative and clinical support.

The client can consider a variety of coverage structures, including full-time, part-time, PRN, weekend and call-focused availability. Outpatient clinic coverage is available but is not the primary need.

Board Certified Pediatric Neurologists with strong recent clinical experience are encouraged to reach out. An active Ohio license is currently required but I am willing to help with that!
