Locum Pediatric Neurologist | Children's Hospital, Inpatient & Outpatient | Allentown, PA | Weekend Beeper Call

Job description

Start: January 18, 2027 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks
Coverage: Pediatric neurology, inpatient and outpatient
Schedule: Mon–Fri office hours, 8:00–17:00, with time carved out for inpatient consults
Call: Weekend beeper call; new and follow-up consults for hospitalized patients on weekends
Volume: Average daily census of about 12 (reduced when consult time is needed)
Practice Setting: Children's hospital with a 50-bed pediatric inpatient unit and a 36-bed Level IV NICU/PICU
Patient Population: Pediatrics
Procedures: EEG reading

• Diagnosis and treatment of pediatric neurological conditions, including epilepsy, seizures, developmental delays, and movement disorders
• Inpatient pediatric neurology consults
• Outpatient pediatric neurology clinic
• EEG interpretation
• Supported by office RNs, MAs, admins, and clinical leaders
• Documentation in Epic

Requirements
• Board Certified in Child Neurology
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• DEA, ACLS, and BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
