Locum Tenen Metabolic Physician needed ASAP

Job description

o Minimum Requirements:
 Current CA Medical License
 Board Certified in Medical Biochemical Genetics
 Board Eligible / Certified in Clinical Genetics
 Current DEA Registration
 Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification
o General Schedule: The following schedule will apply unless there is an unexpected emergency in the Division: Minimum of 3 and maximum of 4 half-day clinics per week unless otherwise specified and agreed by the Division Chief
o The Division Chief will assign shared call on a monthly basis
o Call begins at 5:00 pm on weekdays and weekend call begins at 5:00 pm on Friday until 8:00 am on Monday
o Calls ends at 8:00 am on weekdays
o Responsible for arranging alternate coverage, as approved by the Division Chief, if unable to perform on-call duties during any portion of assigned month
o The number of expected weekend calls will be 13 per year
o The number of expected weeks on service will be 18 per year
