Position Overview:
A well-established academic medical center in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a Transfusion Medicine Pathologist / Hematopathologist to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative pathology team with the potential for a permanent position in the future.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Rotating night and weekend call

  • Immediate and ongoing need during recruitment

Position Details:

  • Provide transfusion medicine and hematopathology services

  • Work alongside an established pathology department with 4 clinical pathologists

  • Utilize EPIC EMR system

Facility Highlights:

  • 974-bed Level I Trauma Center

  • Academic and collaborative environment

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) – required

  • Board Certification in Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine – preferred

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience – preferred
