Colorectal Surgeon needed in GA!

Job description

• Schedule Details: Coverage for Emergency Dept, Inpatient consults and emergency procedures at hospital take Call for the ED, Inpatient, and Clinic patients (6P-7:30am. Calls are 1-2 per night total. Weekend call is Fri 6pm—Mon at 7am.

Work Details:
• Practice Setting: hospital while taking call
• EMR/Charting Software: epic
• Avg. Daily Census: 1-2 per night
• Beds: 503
• Patient Age Group: adult
• Procedures: Colorectal Surgeons (Proctologist) - Lower abdominal/digestive tract procedures-colonoscopies, anoscopies, rectal surgery, colon resections, polyps, pelvic organ prolapse, inflammatory bowel issues, etc

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d: American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery or General Surgery. They can be boarded in General Surgery with proficiency in lower GI procedures.
• State License(s): GA required. IMLC is considered
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• DEA Req’d?: YES
• Years of Experience Req’d: Minimal 2-5 years experience

-Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days
Willing To License?: yes but will review GA licensed candidates FIRST. IMLC is considered
