Surgical Physician Assistant Needed – Greater Puget Sound Region
Start Date: March 2026
Contract Length: Through September 2026; potential extension

Schedule

Full-time scheduled clinical hours only
4×10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
No weekends, no call
Day off varies based on OR schedule
Assignment may extend depending on department staffing needs


Practice Details

Surgical specialty service supporting breast surgery
Mix of operative and clinic responsibilities
Patients per shift: varies, generally low-volume (1–10/day)
EMR: Epic
Support staff available


Clinical Scope

First assist in breast surgery cases
Pre‑operative and post‑operative patient management
Clinic visits, follow‑ups, and procedure support
Coordination of care with breast surgeons
Breast surgery experience preferred but not required


Requirements

Physician Assistant – Surgery
Board Certified
Active Washington license required
BLS required
Surgical experience preferred
Must be organized, responsive, and timely with credentialing documentation


Credentialing

Approx. 30–90 days
Start date dependent on file completion
No name clear required
Submittal must include NPI and full license details


Location
Located in the Greater Puget Sound Region, supporting a breast surgery service with a structured weekday schedule and a consistent 4×10 workweek.
