Schedule Details
• Shifts: Nights
• Shift Time: 7p-7a (in collaboration with tele-ICU & Intensivist physician on-call at night)

JOB DETAILS

• ** Must have an **ACTIVE CA license**
• Internal Medicine (Critical Care Medicine) is in search Full Time or Part Time APP providers for Locum Tenens due to Team Growth, New Position.
• APP Responsibilities: Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, arterial lines, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, temporary hemodialysis catheter placement, mechanical ventilation management and lumbar puncture
• Board Certified with prior ICU experience as an acute care trained nurse practitioner - no new graduates. Will work alongside a tele-ICU Intensivist to provide care for the ICU patients at night, with additional support from an Intensivist on call
• Required Procedures: Central Lines, Arterial Lines, Intubation, Vent management
• CC Pathways accepted: IM, IM/EM, Anesthesia - No Surgical
• EMR: Epic
• Type of ICU: Closed
• # of beds: 12 beds
• Patient Mix: medical/surgical ICU
• Avg Census: 10-12
