Critical Care NP/PA Needed in Antioch, CA

Job description

Critical Care NP/PA Needed in Antioch, CA:
Start Date: 11/2025 or as soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months
Schedule: Shift Time: 7p-7a (in collaboration with tele-ICU & Intensivist physician on-call at night)
APP Responsibilities: Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, arterial lines, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, temporary hemodialysis catheter placement, mechanical ventilation management and lumbar puncture
Board Certified with prior ICU experience as an acute care trained nurse practitioner - no new graduates. Will work alongside a tele-ICU Intensivist to provide care for the ICU patients at night, with additional support from an Intensivist on call
Required Procedures: Central Lines, Arterial Lines, Intubation, Vent management
Type of ICU: Closed
Patient Mix: medical/surgical ICU
Avg Census: 10-12

Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP
Active CA License
