Critical Care APP needed in Antioch, CA

Hello, this is Alisha, Senior Principal Recruiter at Aya Locums. I'm reaching out today about a new CC APP need in Antioch, CA.

Contract Length: 13 weeks, 11/3 start
Shift Details: 7p-7a (in collaboration with tele-ICU & Intensivist physician on-call at night)

Work Details:
APP Responsibilities: Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, arterial lines, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, temporary hemodialysis catheter placement, mechanical ventilation management and lumbar puncture

Board Certified with prior ICU experience as an acute care trained nurse practitioner - no new graduates. Will work alongside a tele-ICU Intensivist to provide care for the ICU patients at night, with additional support from an Intensivist on call

Required Procedures: Central Lines, Arterial Lines, Intubation, Vent management
CC Pathways accepted: IM, IM/EM, Anesthesia - No Surgical

EMR: Epic
Type of ICU: Closed
# of beds: 12 beds
Patient Mix: medical/surgical ICU
Avg Census: 10-12
