Trauma APP | Oakland, CA | Level 1 Trauma Center

Job description

Trauma APP locum opportunity in Oakland, CA at a Level 1 Trauma Center available. This is a high-acuity, full-scope trauma role across the continuum of care.

Schedule:
• Start: August 2026
• Full-time coverage
• 3x12 hour shifts (may consider 5x8)
• Mix of day and night shifts
• Minimum 4 weekend shifts per month
• No call

Practice:
• Level 1 Trauma Center (busy Bay Area site)
• Care across ED, floor, and ICU
• 20–25 patients per day (shared with residents)
• High-acuity trauma and critical care cases
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Board Certified NP or PA
• Active CA license (required at submission)
• DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 1 year trauma experience (Level 1 strongly preferred)
• Experience with central lines, arterial lines, and chest tubes preferred
• ATLS preferred (must be willing to obtain within 1 year)

Credentialing:
• Approximately 60–90 days
