Hospitalist NP/PA Needed – Orange County, CA

Start Date: 06/08/2026
Contract Length: Shift coverage only for listed dates
Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts
Open Shifts: June 6, 7, and 8
Practice Setting:
Hospital
Facility Details:
Currently staffed at 80 beds with census expected to increase over the summer
Closed ICU
No observation unit
Approximately 60% admit rate
Epic EMR
Coverage Details:
Reviewing NPs and PAs
Day and night coverage needed
Day shift providers do not perform procedures
ICU team handles code blues during day shifts
Night providers perform procedures and vent management
Requirements:
Board Certified NP or PA
Active California license required
AHA ACLS certification required
Must have experience in a high-acuity hospital setting
Strong inpatient/hospitalist experience preferred
Credentialing:
Approximately 30 days
Temporary privileges are being issued
