New Opportunity Located in Western CA with Aya Locums: Critical Care NP/PA

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Critical Care NP/PA for a locum assignment in Western California.

Assignment Details:
• Start Date: 9/28/26 (or as soon as credentialed)
• Contract Length: 3 months with ongoing potential
• Schedule: PRN nights, 6p–6a (prefer at least 1 night shift/month)
• Practice Setting: Academic Hospital ICU
• Patient Population: Adult ICU patients (no Pediatrics or OB)
• Case Mix: Mixed medical/surgical ICU; admissions, ICU management, critical care procedures, code response, ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and preferred intubation experience. Provider works independently overnight with intensivist/fellow backup by phone.
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• State License: Active California license required
• Certifications: Board Certified NP/PA, ACLS, BLS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU APP experience required (MICU preferred);
