Advanced Practitioners - Critical Care

Job Details:

• Join a top-tier critical care team offering a unique blend of strong collaboration and meaningful autonomy
• Practice as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at the top of your license
• Manage complex patients and perform advanced procedures in a high-acuity inpatient critical care setting
• Part-time 24 hours per week with a day/night rotating schedule, Monday through Sunday
• No call schedule required
• Significant responsibility during off-hours with access to intensivist collaboration when needed
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to specialists and care team members
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a critical care setting as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• State-of-the-art clinical technology including EPIC to support improved patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
