Critical Care NP/PA Needed in Covington, GA
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Schedule:
• 3x12-hour shifts per week or ideally a 7-on/7-off schedule
• Day, night, and weekend coverage required
• Shift times vary by location: 6a–6p, 6p–6a, 12p–12a, or 2p–2a
Position Details:
• ICU coverage across hospitals in the Augusta and Metro Atlanta areas
• One application covers all four locations
• Providers may float between 1–2 sites, but not on the same day
• Average census of 10–15 patients per APP
• Adult patient population
• Epic EMR
• Must be comfortable independently managing critically ill patients
Required Procedures:
• Endotracheal intubation
• Central venous catheter (CVL) placement
• Arterial line placement
• Temporary dialysis catheter (Vascath) placement
Requirements:
• ACNP or PA (FNPs not accepted)
• Active Georgia license
• DEA
• Minimum 2 years of ICU APP experience with strong procedural skills
• Completed or willing to complete the Difficult Airway Course (DAC) or equivalent
Additional Details:
• Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
• Travel covered, including flight, hotel, rental car, or mileage
• Not open to licensing
