🚨 Critical Care PA/ACNP Needed in Metro Atlanta & Augusta, Georgia 🚨

Target Start Date: January 2027
Contract Length: 13 Weeks with Extension Potential
Schedule: Full-Time | 3x12s or 7 On / 7 Off
Call Details: No Call







Job Details:
• Critical Care PA or ACNP locums opportunity
• Ongoing ICU coverage beginning January 2027
• Coverage across multiple Piedmont hospital ICUs in the Metro Atlanta and Augusta areas
• Scheduled clinical hours only
• Adult ICU patient population
• Average census of 10-15 patients per APP
• EMR: Epic
• Multiple providers needed
• Must be comfortable independently managing critically ill patients
• Travel, lodging, rental car, or mileage provided




Shift Coverage Includes:
• Flexible 12-hour shifts based on facility needs
• Day and night coverage available
• Shift times may include: 6a-6p, 6p-6a, 12p-12a, or 2p-2a
• Minimum 10 shifts per month required
• Minimum 2 weekend shifts per month required
• Preferred schedule: 7 On / 7 Off




Procedures:
• Endotracheal Intubation
• Central Venous Catheter (CVL) Placement
• Arterial Line Placement
• Temporary Dialysis Catheter (Vascath) Placement
• Critical Care Management of ICU Patients







Requirements:
• Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Required
• FNP candidates will not be considered
• Active Georgia License Required (not open to licensing)
• DEA Required
• BLS and ACLS Required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU APP experience required
• Strong procedural experience required
• Epic experience required
• DAC (Difficult Airway Course) completed or willing to complete required
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90-120 days







Location: Metro Atlanta & Augusta, Georgia
Practice Setting: Critical Care ICU Float Pool Across Multiple Hospital Locations
