Schedule: Monday - Sunday rotation. Minimum of 3 consecutive shifts. Providers must have 1 day off after working 6 consecutive shifts.
Hours: Nights - 7pm to 7am
Volume: 10 - 15 patients per shift
Need: 16 shifts per month

Seeking an experienced Critical Care APP to join a collaborative ICU team providing care across Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical ICU step-down units. This is a high-acuity environment with support from fellows, residents, and attending physicians.
Active state license required at time of presentation
Responsibilities
Manage approximately 10–15 patients per day
Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients
Perform bedside procedures, including central and arterial line placements
Manage post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients
Provide care for neurocritical care patients, including those with subdural hemorrhages and external ventricular drains (EVDs)
Participate in the management of patients requiring ventricular assist devices (VADs), VA ECMO, and heart transplant support
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
Coverage Model & Support
Three APPs provide coverage across the Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical ICU step-down units
Pulmonary patients are managed in a step-down setting with support from an on-site Pulmonary Fellow
Trauma and NICU residents are on-site
Attending physicians are available for consultation and support as needed
Preferred Experience
Prior Critical Care APP experience required
Comfortable managing high-acuity ICU patients and performing bedside procedures
Experience with neurocritical care, cardiovascular critical care, VADs, ECMO, and transplant patients preferred
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, fellows, residents, and APP colleagues
