Cardiovascular SICU NP/PA – Baltimore, MD
Start: 1/4/2027
Contract: 12 weeks
Employment: 1099 Locum Tenens
Full-time: 3 shifts/week, 18 shifts per 6-week schedule
50/50 day/night rotation
Days: 6:00 AM–7:30 PM
Nights: 6:00 PM–7:30 AM
No call
Setting: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU (CVSICU)
Level I Trauma Center
Approximately 4 patients per provider
No OR responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Manage critically ill cardiac surgery patients
Central line placement
Arterial line placement
Chest tube insertion
Patient assessment and treatment planning
Patient/family education and discharge planning
Requirements:
Acute Care NP or Board-Certified PA
Prior CVSICU experience required
Experience with transplant, VAD, and ECMO required
Line placement competency/proof required
BLS and ACLS
Prior Epic experience
Open to Maryland licensing; credentialing averages approximately 90 days
