Cardiac Surgery NP/PA Needed in Missouri

Job description

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing PRN
Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts with ICU and Stepdown coverage available. No call.

• High-acuity inpatient Cardiac Surgery ICU/Stepdown coverage
• Census approximately 12–22 patients, including primary patients and consults
• Comprehensive management of pre/post-op CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgery patients
• Chest tube and pacing wire removal, surgical drain management, and wound care
• Must be comfortable managing arrhythmias, pacemakers, volume/diuresis, electrolytes, and recognizing clinical deterioration
• Cardiac Surgeon support with Hospitalist coverage overnight
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and Level I Trauma experience required
• Epic EMR

Missouri License Preferred (We can help license you!)

Credentialing Timeframe: Temporary privileges may be available with a clean background
