Pulmonary Critical Care ICU APP – Omaha, NE (Locum)
Job description
Seeking 1–2 experienced Pulmonary/Critical Care APPs for MICU coverage at a large teaching hospital in Omaha, NE, with occasional shifts at a nearby community hospital. Ideal candidates have ≥2 years of critical care experience (MICU, SICU, or transplant ICUs), Level 1 trauma familiarity, and ventilator/ECMO management experience. Coverage includes 12-hour day or night shifts, preference for no more than 4 consecutive shifts. Support staff available at both sites; physician coverage varies by location. NE licensure or compact license required. Credentialing turnaround ~4–5 weeks. EMR: Epic.
- Full-time 12-hour MICU shifts at a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital; occasional coverage at community hospital.
- Start early–mid November; 6–8 week contract; ACNP/AGACNP required.
- Ventilator & ECMO experience required; patient load 1:6–8. No call.
