Critical Care NP/PA Needed – Chattanooga, TN
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Length: 3 months
Schedule
Night shifts only: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Dates needed:
September 14–20
October 12–18
October 27–November 1
Additional 2027 maternity leave coverage is expected (exact dates TBD)
Practice Details
ICU coverage with the physician on call
12-hour shifts
Average patient volume: 12 patients
Support from MDs and APPs
Requirements
Active Tennessee license
Tennessee DEA (or one that can be easily transferred)
Board Certified
BLS and ACLS required
Must be proficient in:
Intubations
Central line placement
Arterial line placement
Case Logs
Case logs from the past 24 months are required.
For intubations, arterial lines, thoracentesis, paracentesis, central venous catheter placement, hemodialysis, and chest tube placement, providers must have at least 10 cases in the past 24 months or complete the first 10 procedures under director supervision.
