Fulltime APP needed for coverage in Dallas, TX

April start (ASAP)
• Variable Shifts (including nights, weekends, and rotating holidays)
• Length of assignment (Weeks): 13 weeks with option to extend with department approval

Setting/Procedures
• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
• Specialty skills and procedures: Arterial line placement, Central Venous Line Placement, Chest Tube Placement, Endotracheal Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, PICC Placement
• Call: In-house night call responsibilities are shared among all team members who have completed orientation to nights.
• Patients per day: PICU: 4-6 patients during the day; night call includes all patients assigned to the team at checkout as well as any new admission assigned to team.
• Types of patients: Asthmatics, DKA, Ingestions, and chronic ventilations
• EPIC EMR

Requirements:
MUST be board certified.
Open to licensing, but TX license preferred.
• Candidates need to be comfortable with working autonomously.
• Interested candidates will need a minimum of 1 year experience in PICU, ICU, or ER.
