We are seeking a Cardiac Critical Care NP/PA for an ongoing assignment in Roanoke, Virginia.

Start Date: September 2026
Schedule: Day and night shifts (7:00 AM – 8:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM); approximately 39 hours per week
Practice Setting: Hospital
Assignment Details:
• 12-bed cardiac surgery ICU within a 733-bed hospital
• 6–12 patients per day plus consults (adult population)
• Manage post-operative cardiothoracic patients (CABG, valve, thoracic, and aortic cases)
• Collaborate on advanced mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, IABP, LVAD, Impella, RVAD)
• Perform ICU procedures including central lines, arterial lines, bronchoscopy, and chest tube management
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary ICU team
License: Active Virginia License Required
Requirements:
• NP or PA required
• Must have cardiac surgery ICU experience
• Comfortable with central and arterial line placement
