We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a locum tenens assignment in a 20-bed Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience managing complex patients, advanced monitoring equipment, and ventilator support while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities
Critical Care Nursing
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients.
Monitor and manage ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
Patient Care & Collaboration
Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care RN experience
Experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
Willing to float to PCU
Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
Certifications
Active Massachusetts RN License
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Preferred

BSN

Critical Care Skills Checklist (within 1 year)
One supervisory reference (within the past 2 years)
Active Massachusetts RN License
Candidate must have reliable transportation
Permanent address required (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible)
Maximum of 5 days requested time off submitted with initial application

• Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 12-Hour Shifts
• 36 or 48 Hours per Week
