Cardiovascular ICU PA – Columbus, OH

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Assignment Length:
• 3-month contract

Schedule:
• Full-time only
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend coverage required

Practice Details:
• Hospital-based Cardiovascular ICU
• Manage preoperative and postoperative cardiac surgery patients
• Care for CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, heart transplant, and lung transplant patients
• Responsibilities include hemodynamic optimization, arrhythmia management, anticoagulation, fluid management, respiratory optimization, pain control, wound care, infection surveillance, electrolyte replacement, and postoperative critical care
• Procedures include chest tube removal, temporary pacing wire removal, drain removal, and wound care

Requirements:
• Active Ohio PA license
• Minimum of 3 years of Cardiovascular ICU experience
• Heart failure, heart transplant, and lung transplant experience required
• Previous locums experience required
• No first-time locum providers
