This 275-bed full-service hospital provides a broad range of diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. The facility maintains established critical care protocols and appropriate resources to support the delivery of specialized inpatient ICU services. Locum tenens coverage is sought to ensure continuity of care throughout the designated coverage periods.

The area offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Visitors may explore the Tennessee Aquarium, Ruby Falls, Raccoon Mountain Caverns, and the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, as well as the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum and the local zoo. Rock City Gardens on Lookout Mountain is accessible approximately 15 minutes from the downtown area, and a variety of community events, fitness programs, and recreational activities are available throughout the region year-round.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide critical care coverage during 12-hour day and night shifts at an inpatient facility on an on-site basis, delivering intensive monitoring and critical care interventions while the attending MD is on call. Coverage spans the following date ranges: Sept 14 - Sept 20, Oct 12 - Oct 18, and Oct 27 - Nov 1. The clinician will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team that includes MDs and APPs, maintaining an average caseload of 12 patients.
