Pulmonary Critical Care Locums Needed – Ongoing Coverage Starting September

Job description

An established hospital-based clinic in Alabama is looking for a Pulm/CC locums physician to begin a long-term assignment starting September 1st. Work in a collaborative, teaching-focused environment with robust APP and resident support.

🩺 What to Expect:
• Schedule: Weekday day shifts (7a–5p) + 24-hour call coverage
• Support Team: 1 APP daily, internal medicine residents, overnight nocturnist, and tele-ICU starting October
• Patient Load: 12–18 patients per shift
• ICU Setting: 18 beds | Trauma Level III
• EMR: Medhost

📋 Requirements:
• Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care
• Active Alabama License (required)
• Fellowship-trained, ACLS/BLS certified
• Able to commit to at least 13 weeks with potential extension
