Critical Care Locums – Short-Term Coverage - Alabama

Job description

Opportunity Highlights:
• Start Date: 5/15/2026
• End Date: 5/18/2026
• Scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Academic hospital setting

Schedule:
• Clinical coverage with beeper call
• Call response time: 30 minutes

Work Details:
• 20–25 patients per day
• ICU: 32 beds
• Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital
• EMR: Cerner
• Full scope critical care including ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive), bronchoscopy with BAL, chest tubes, central and arterial lines, PA catheter placement, IABP, dialysis catheter placement, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, and more

Requirements:
• Board Certification not required
• Active Alabama license or IMLC required
• BLS & ACLS preferred

Additional Details:
• Credentialing timeframe: ~45 days
