This hospital is part of a comprehensive healthcare system serving the North Coast region with a 12-bed ICU department. The facility provides trauma level 3 services and maintains strong critical care capabilities with excellent provider support and resources for optimal patient outcomes.

Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:
• Provide night ICU coverage from 7p-7a with guaranteed 12 hours per day
• Manage 5 patient encounters per shift in a 12-bed ICU department
• Handle ventilation management including invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy) and non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
• Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
• Preferred skills include bronchoscopy with bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL)
• Central line and arterial line insertion preferred
• ICP evaluation and management preferred
• Dialysis catheter placement preferred
• Must maintain active California medical license and CA DEA
• Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in specialty required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• No overtime expected for this position
