This is a float pool position between Highland Hospital, Alameda Hospital, and San Leandro Hospital
All shifts are day shift, 7a-7p

Providers must be able to commit to at least 3 of the stints below, please include exact dates that they can cover in the presentation:
9/14-20
9/14-18 at Alameda Hospital, 9/19-20 at Highland
9/21-27
9/14-18 at Alameda Hospital, 9/26-27 at Highland
10/3-9
10/3-4 provider will float between Alameda Hospital and San Leandro. 10/5-9 at Alameda Hospital

Work Details:
• Support staff: div chief always available, residents at Highland and San Leandro. Always hospitalists and ER physicians available 24/7. Assigned jeopardy physician who can be activated if needed
Patients per day: Alameda Hospital and San Leandro generally see 5-7 pts/day, sometimes up to 9. Highland sees 7-9 pts per day.
• Patient population/age: Adults
• Department description: Alameda Hospital and San Leandro are both small community hospitals. Highland is a level 1 trauma center.
• EMR: EPIC
• Special procedures: Bread and butter intensivist procedures including but not limited to intubation, placing lines, pigtail chest tubes, catheters, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, etc. Facility is up to date on technology and has updated guide scopes, ultrasound machines, etc
• Skills required:
Great communication skills required

• Academic/Training
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: BE but preferred BC
• License required: CA license required
• DEA: CA DEA required
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• Minimum experience required:
Minimum 3-5 years of attending level experience as providers will be working solo
Must have locum experience
Must be able to commit to covering at least 3 of the shift blocks posted. Please include exact dates that they can cover in the presentation.

Rate is not all inclusive – facility will cover lodging, rental car, and flights
