Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Critical Care Physician to provide solo MICU coverage at a well-supported hospital in Bowling Green, KY. This assignment combines daytime in-house coverage with overnight call and offers ongoing monthly opportunities.

Schedule
Initial coverage: December 24–26
Ongoing need: 8–12 shifts per month
In-house coverage: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Overnight call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
Practice Details
Medical ICU
Solo intensivist coverage
Average census: 8–14 patients/day
Supported by MICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary hospital teams
Required Procedures
Airway management
Central line placement
Arterial line placement
Dialysis catheter placement
Bronchoscopy
Chest tube insertion
Thoracentesis
Paracentesis
Requirements
Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
Active Kentucky medical license
Active DEA
ACLS Certification
