PROVIDERS MUST BE NV LICENSED - local providers preferred

Does physician need Board Certification: BC in critical care

Daily Patient Volume: 30+ patients in unit with 2 physicians covering during the day (7a-7p), 1 physician covering at night (7p-7a), and a swing shift that runs from 2pm – 1am.

Describe the make-up of support staff: No mid levels, nurses are well-trained and educated

Describe the daily shift requirements: 12 hour Productive shift – daytime and nighttime coverage (weekend and weekday), swing shift (2p-1a), all coverage needed

Practice EMR: Meditech

Census is anywhere from 30-45 per day for 2 physicians during the day and a third swing physician who works from 3p-11p.

47 bed ICU - mainly closed but not completely

Need BC in critical care, no specific procedures just typical intensivist procedures
