Critical Care Locums Assignment – Utah | Flexible Scheduling

Job description

Location: Utah
Start Date: September -October, 2026
Contract Duration: Through December 31, 2026
Schedule: Up to 30 shifts per month

Schedule:
Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Night call: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Scheduled clinical coverage with overnight call
30-minute response time if called in
Average of approximately one overnight admission per night

Facility Details:
Average daily ICU census: approximately 12 patients
Fully staffed ICU with nurses, technicians, and support staff
Daytime MD in-house
Nighttime MD on call
EMR: Meditech and Patient Keeper

Candidate Requirements:
Active Utah medical license at the time of submission
Board Certified
Critical care experience required
ACLS and DEA required

Proficiency with common ICU procedures, including:
Airway management
Central and arterial line placement
Dialysis catheter placement
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Bronchoscopy
Chest tube insertion
