Critical Care in Lovely Utah!

Got some room on your September calendar? Utah has an ICU with your name on it.

Aya Locums has an immediate Critical Care need with priority dates of September 27-October 5. Physicians who can cover those dates will also be considered for additional future shifts - with up to 30 shifts available per month.

The ICU averages just ~12 patients per day and is fully staffed with experienced nurses, technicians, and support staff. Day shifts are 7 AM–7 PM with the physician in-house. Overnight is call from 7 PM–7 AM, with a 30-minute response time and an average of only ~1 overnight admission per night.

You’ll need to be comfortable doing the things intensivists do best: airway management, central and arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tubes.

EMR is Meditech / Patient Keeper.

The big thing: We need physicians who can commit to September 27–October 5. Cover the priority dates, and there’s potential for a LOT more work afterward.
