Job description

Part‑time Dermatology need with flexible scheduling over a 6‑month period. Outpatient setting with occasional call consults possible. Ideal for local Northern California dermatologists seeking 2–3 days per month with steady patient volume.

HIGHLIGHTS

2–3 days/month | Thursdays ideal
Other options: Wednesday afternoons, Monday AM/PM
6‑month ongoing contract
Outpatient clinic focus; occasional inpatient call consults possible
24 patients/day
Ages 13+
Mix of general and complex medical dermatology
No Mohs
Epic EMR
Must be local to Bay Area/Northern CA
1099 Locum Tenens


SCHEDULE

Start Date: 4/6/2026
Coverage: Scheduled + No Call (some optional call consults possible)
Shift Type: Day (8a–5p)
Frequency:

2–3x/month (Thursdays strongly preferred)
Will consider Wed afternoons, Mon mornings/afternoons




CASE MIX

General medical dermatology
Complex medical dermatology
Biopsies
Pediatric derm (13+)
Management of cases not suitable for photo review (telederm escalations)

1 nursing support staff
24 patients/day
Epic EMR
No Mohs procedures


REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified or Board Eligible
Must hold active CA license
DEA required
Local provider required (no travel coverage)
1 year recent Dermatology experience
Epic experience preferred
1099 Locum Tenens
Credentialing: ~3 months
OT multiplier: 1.5x after scheduled shift
