Job Title: Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic Radiology

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team in Eureka, CA. In this hospital-based role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols, age-specific guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Working closely with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff, the Radiology Technologist plays a vital role in delivering accurate diagnostic results while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures in compliance with departmental protocols and age-specific imaging guidelines.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal image quality and accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, including clear communication, reassurance, and safety guidance.
Serve as a customer service representative for patients, families, physicians, and clinical staff.
Mentor and support less experienced radiologic technologists as needed.
Participate in on-call rotations to meet departmental and patient care needs.
Travel to off-campus locations to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures when required.
Assist with quality control processes, safety checks, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

Required Qualifications
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation (CAHEA) of the American Medical Association (AMA).
California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License – required upon hire.
ARRT Certification – required upon hire.
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association – required upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of Hospital-based experience as a Radiology Technologist.
Experience performing diagnostic imaging in an acute care or inpatient setting.

Fully licensed and certified (California RT License, ARRT, BLS).
Strong background in hospital-based diagnostic imaging.
